Terms and privacy

Who we are

Get Sponsor Ready helps clubs, unions, schools and community groups get ready for sponsorship. It is based in Auckland, New Zealand. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Get Sponsor Ready. When they say "you", they mean the club, union, school or group using this site, and the person acting for it.

Club pages and Club Page Pro

Free club page. Free forever, no card. It includes up to three packages plus in-kind and entry packages, an enquiry button, a QR code and the option to hide prices.

Club Page Pro costs $149 a year, NZD including GST. It adds the sponsor tracker, a logo wall for sponsors marked paid, one pager, rate card and sponsor invoice PDFs, thank you and season-end reports, renewal reminders and a second admin.

• Free period. Pro is free until your club marks its first sponsor paid, or for 60 days. Your dashboard shows the date it ends, and we tell you before anything is charged.
• Paying. By card, or by invoice with 20 day terms.
• Renewal. Pro renews each year until you cancel. You can cancel in one click on your dashboard.
• If it lapses. If you cancel or an invoice is not paid, your page drops back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.

Unions, centres and trusts. Body pages are free while we run the pilot. Email us to join the pilot list.

Canva templates

Each Canva template costs $29, NZD including GST, paid once. They are self serve: you get a link, make your own copy in Canva and edit it for your club. You need your own Canva account.

The Sponsorship Pack

The Sponsorship Pack costs $149, NZD including GST, paid once. It is self serve. It includes:

• all five Canva templates
• the proposal deck outline
• the rate card and asset inventory tools
• the first year of Club Page Pro, until one year after you buy

If you already have a club page with the email you paid with, it moves to Pro straight away. If not, build your page with that email and Pro switches on. After the year, Pro renews at the Club Page Pro price only if you choose to keep it. Otherwise your page drops back to free and nothing is deleted.

We do not build the pack for you. Your committee fills in the templates and tools.

Payments

Online payments are taken by card through Stripe, a payment provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We do not see or keep your full card number. Club Page Pro can also be paid by invoice.

Until online checkout is live, we send you an invoice or a payment link by email instead.

Refunds and your rights

Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, where those Acts apply to you.

If something we provide is not right, email us at info@getsponsorready.co.nz and tell us what happened. We will work through it with you.

No commission

We do not charge commission or success fees on any sponsorship you raise. Ever. The price you pay us is the price, whatever your sponsors put in.

Your deals

Your club makes the asks and signs the deals. Any sponsor agreement is between you and the sponsor. We are not a party to it, and we do not act for the sponsor.

Who owns the work

You own what you make with our templates and tools: your asset inventory, rate card, deck and graphics. Reuse them, change them and share them as you like, this season and next.

No guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will get sponsorship, or how much. Nobody honestly can. What we do is help you make your ask clear, priced and easy to say yes to.

Emails and unsubscribing

Our emails come from Get Sponsor Ready, Auckland, at info@getsponsorready.co.nz.

• Helpful emails. If you tick the box on the free check, we send you a few short emails to help fix your gaps, and now and then a note about your club page, the templates or the pack. We only send these if you ticked the box.
• Unsubscribing. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link that stops them. You can also email us and ask.
• Emails you need. If you build a club page or buy something, we also send emails about it, such as receipts, sign in links, your Pro dates and payment problems. These are not marketing.

Referrals

You can send any club to the free check. If a club arrives through a referral link, we note which link it came through. We do not share that club's answers with whoever referred them. No reward is offered for referrals unless the refer page says so.

Privacy

What we collect.

• Your answers to the free Sponsor Ready Check, and your score
• Your contact details: organisation, name, role, email and phone
• Whether you asked for our emails, and whether you unsubscribed
• Your purchases and Club Page Pro status, from Stripe. Not your card number.
• How you found us: a referral link, campaign tags in the link you clicked, and the first page you visited
• When you sign in, and which toolkit tools you use. Not what you type into them.

Why. To reply to you, send the emails you asked for, deliver what you paid for, run your club page, and see which parts of the site are working.

Where it is kept. We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and our database
• Stripe handles payments and Club Page Pro billing
• Resend sends our emails
• ClickUp holds our client pipeline, so enquiries and pack orders do not get lost

Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand.

Cookies. We use a sign in cookie for club pages and the toolkit, and a cookie that remembers a referral link for 90 days. We do not use advertising cookies.

Who sees it. The Get Sponsor Ready team only. We do not sell your details or share them with sponsors or anyone else.

How long we keep it. As long as we need it for your enquiry, your purchase or your club page.

Your rights. Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email info@getsponsorready.co.nz.

The toolkit saves your work in your own browser only. We do not see it. How club pages handle sponsors' details is on the club pages privacy page.
